IAM has been given countless opportunities to bless others in their time of need, and it has been both a privilege and a joy to provide in various ways. Our first opportunity in 2008 was to take an orphan to the city for an eye exam and purchase a much-needed pair of glasses. During the past 12 years, we have participated in numerous blessings. We have built several mud houses, dug a pit latrine for a family, given away hundreds of shoes to students who had none, bought towels and pajamas for an entire orphanage, helped with medical needs, births, burials, and so much more. We have experienced the truth, “it is more blessed to give than to receive.”
